(1) The institution shall arrange reservation for women, Dalits, tribals/tribes, Madhesi and students from backward areas who have studied in public schools and have passed entrance examination or equivalent, living in rural areas and not less than ten percent of the total number of students enrolled in each academic session.
(2) According to sub-section (1), the students will be selected through competition in the reserved places.
